Paul Pierce is old. Not for a regular person, as he’s just 39, but he’s old for an NBA player. This is apparent to his teammates, and provided the catalyst for some quality on-court comedy from Chris Paul.

Take a look as Pierce receives a CP3 pass and attempts to finish a dunk in transition:

Now that is quality comedy. You don’t get a lot of intentional slapstick/pantomime humor in the middle of an NBA game. And it wasn’t even a blowout! This is a ten-point game in the second quarter against the Nets. Pierce, the bench, the Brooklyn crowd, and the broadcasters were all big fans too, as they should be.
