Kobe Bryant’s NBA career came to an end back in April, but the Laker great is apparently staying busy since he’s put the basketball away. Bryant appeared in a Ghostbusters promo during Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
There’s been plenty of opinions about the movie, both good and bad, but sports fans alike can all agree that having Bryant make a cameo is never a bad idea.
He did a pretty good job too:
Bryant wasn’t the only NBA personality making an appearance Thursday night. Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, Spike Lee, and Walt Frazier all got in on the fun too at Madison Square Garden:

This is a good marketing strategy for the movie. The NBA Finals rematch has been highly anticipated and is certainly drawing in more than just NBA fans. But for those that may have not paid it any attention before, certainly know of it now.
