The Philadelphia 76ers selected Kansas Jayhawks product Joel Embiid with the third overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, and he’s gone on to play exactly zero regular-season games in the NBA. The seven-footer has dealt with foot injuries that derailed his first two seasons, and now of course the 76ers have another top draft pick that is dealing with a serious foot injury of his own in Ben Simmons.

But, Embiid appears to be healthy now, and is playing in the 76ers’ preseason games. And before Thursday night’s Philadephia preseason game against the Washington Wizards, Embiid really showed he must be feeling good, as he threw down this between-the-legs dunk:

Embiid continued showing his talents in the actual game, which was his first-ever 76ers game at home:

This is certainly something encouraging to see for a 76ers fan base that has not had much to be excited about over the last few years. Hopefully there will soon be a time where we get to see Embiid and Simmons on the floor together.
