During Friday’s ACC Cross Country Championships, Boston College runner Madeline Adams fell down close to the finish line with exhaustion. Right next to her was Clemson’s Evie Tate, who decided to sportingly help Adams cross the finish line instead of running ahead of her to improve her position.

But she didn’t do this alone, as she got some help from Louisville runner Rachel Pease, who came up behind the other two women and helped Tate gets Adams over the line.

Forgetting rivalry, competitiveness and all else, this is a fantastic display of sportsmanship and one that needs to be celebrated and championed across the internet, especially on days where the news feels like its been overwhelmingly negative.
