With his chances of returning to the NFL getting smaller and smaller by the day, Johnny Manziel has decided to start taking classes at Texas A&M once again.

Though Manziel hasn’t officially confirmed he’s taking classes, a number of people have confirmed it. This includes sources close to Manziel and Texas A&M students. Manziel’s decision to go back to school comes after a tumultuous time in the NFL along with his problems with alcohol.

According to sources, Manziel will be taking online classes while he continues to live in Los Angeles. The former Heisman Trophy winner left for the NFL before finishing his degree in College Station.

Once the fact that Manziel might be in school began to slip out, Twitter was able to take it the rest of the way. It started with a simple search into the Texas A&M student directory.

When he was in school the first time around, Manziel was a Parks, Recreation and Tourism major. He appears to be continuing down that path, according to a screenshot of a discussion board post (The Twitter user who posted the screenshot of the discussion board post has now made their account private, which means we aren’t able to see the screenshot).

But there was one floating around that showed Manziel introducing himself to his classmates. He said he likes sports (way to really think about yourself, Johnny). I have a feeling that class might have some new students after hearing that the former Aggie quarterback is enrolled.

Aside from poking fun at Manziel’s return to school, it is nice to finally see him doing something that is positive. Just in the past year, Manziel has reportedly punched someone in the face at a wedding, got suspended by the NFL while he was a free agent and among other things, made some of his family drama public on Instagram.
