The University of Kentucky’s football stadium will now be sponsored by the grocery store chain Kroger, and with a month to go before the season, the amateur sports team is finishing up decking out the stadium with Kroger signs.

However, when the “Kroger Field” sign went up at the main gate, it went up backward, meaning it read “Roger Field” for a brief time. So UK ran a fun promotion: Anyone named Roger or Rogers who got to the stadium this morning before the “K” went up got free tickets to the Wildcats’ game against Eastern Kentucky.

As it turns out, people actually took advantage of the opportunity.

Congrats to the winners for the opportunity to watch a very bad football game for free.
