Tuesday was quite the day for the Lane Train at Florida Atlantic University.

Lane Kiffin signed a 10-year extension to stay the head football coach at FAU through 2027, and then the Owls destroyed Akron 50-3 in the Boca Raton Bowl (basically a home game for FAU).

And when FAU was up 34-3 in the third quarter, Kiffin chose to go for two!

Kiffin was obviously asked postgame about the decision to go for two in a blowout, and told the media it was prompted by an Akron athletics official talking trash on Monday.

“His bad.”

Welp, that’s certainly Lane being Lane.
