LaVar Ball

While LaVar Ball was watching his sons play a game at Chino Hills High School, robbers attempted to burglarize his home.

TMZ Sports reports Ball’s neighbors called police after hearing suspicious noises from Ball’s home. Officers found belongings left in the middle of the room, meaning burglars likely left them behind after realizing the police were on the way.

Appearing on Sportscenter, Ball said all burglars did was break a window.

“Chino’s got the best neighborhood watch in the world. As soon as they bust a window, they call the police. That’s all they did was break a window.”

Unsurprisingly, he also said if he was there, burglars wouldn’t have escaped.

“I wish I was there. It ain’t hard to get in my house. It’s hard to get out.”

Even after getting burglarized, Ball manages to prop up a member of his family – this time, himself. Honestly, considering the stare he gives Cari Champion after making the remark, I wouldn’t mess with him, especially in his own home.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt. Nor were any possessions stolen. Police looked for fingerprints and examined surveillance footage.

Recently, LaVar has made the media rounds propping up his sons’ games, while simultaneously putting his shoe firmly in his mouth.

Ball’s laundry list of absurd comments includes thinking he could have taken Michael Jordan one-on-one and saying his sons’ should get a billion dollar shoe deal, started a ridiculously high-priced clothing line, claimed his son Lonzo’s going to better than Steph Curry and finally, said his son would only play for the Lakers.

Somewhat unfortunately, Ball’s created a high-profile for himself and possibly made himself a target for burglars. Robbers likely knew he’d be at the Chino Hills game cheering on his sons.

It’s great Ball’s neighborhood watch is so efficient. And doubly great no one else was home at the time, or this story could have had a much different ending.
