The NCAA and the argument over payment has become an extremely hot topic of conversation in recent years. As a result, it’s led to some interesting comparisons between what the NCAA stands for and historical scenarios.

Michael and Martellus Bennett both played at Texas A&M before solid NFL careers. The duo has been in the news a lot lately after a recent ESPN profile on their battle against the world. Now, they’re back in the news thanks to an ESPN “E:60” piece.

The feature will debut Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST, but ESPN released a trailer on Tuesday.

47 seconds in is when Michael drops the biggest hot take of the trailer.

“Hell yeah college players should get paid,” Bennett said. “NCAA gets paid. Rose Bowl gets paid. Everybody gets paid except the people making the product. In some countries, they call that slavery.”

That’s right, Michael Bennett compared the NCAA to slavery. Meanwhile Martellus simply went after Jason Witten and Jay Cutler in the trailer.

Let’s just say ESPN painted the two brothers very differently in the trailer. Then again, to build up to Michael’s scorching hot take is a smart move. That quote/idea/statement alone will likely bring a lot of viewers to the table on Wednesday.
