Jim Harbaugh is at it again.

The Michigan coach has made waves in the college football world ever since he arrived in Ann Arbor. From satellite camp drama to over-the-top recruiting shows, Harbaugh has upset traditional balance in the sport like none other.

His latest coup will come on Sept. 3, when Michael Jordan joins the Wolverines on the field as an honorary captain for their season opener against Hawaii. Harbaugh broke the news during his appearance on The Rich Eisen Show on Friday, and he also revealed the team will be rocking Jumpman branded uniforms.

Michigan’s deal with previous apparel sponsor Adidas expires at the end of the month, at which point the school’s deal with Nike kicks in. Nike is of course the parent company that owns Jordan’s Jumpan brand.

Michigan’s 15-year, $169 million deal with Nike, which was agreed to in 2015, was at the time the largest apparel deal for a public university in college sports history. Ohio State has since surpassed that mark with its own 15-year, $252 million deal with Nike.
