A very scary moment occurred during the fourth inning of Thursday evening’s Georgia-Missouri game in Columbia.

Missouri freshman right fielder Cade Bormet was tried to make a sliding catch on a flyball in foul territory, and crashed into the wall at full speed. It’s a brick wall.

Bormet was down on the ground for a few minutes, before being taken away on a stretcher. After silence from the crowd, there was a loud ovation as Bormet gave a thumbs up as he was stretchered out of Taylor Stadium.

And better news: he’ll reportedly be okay (though you have to at least wonder about a concussion there).

It’s a pretty look, but having a brick wall down the foul line probably isn’t a great idea.
