It appeared the No. 19 NC State Wolfpack were about to take the lead in the final two minutes against Wake Forest, when Emeka Emezie caught a pass from Ryan Finley and made two defenders miss inside the five-yard line.

Emezie then dove toward the end zone, but Wake Forest linebacker Demetrius Kemp emerged out of nowhere to force a fumble right as Emezie was about to cross the goal line, and Kemp recovered the ball in the end zone.

What was inches away from being a potential game-winning touchdown for NC State — if they made the extra point, of course — turned into a game-saving fumble recovery for Wake Forest.
