North Texas

Even in the lowest and most seemingly uninteresting bowl games, something wild and wacky happens. Monday’s Quick Lane Bowl was an exercise in football follies, and on Tuesday in the Heart of Dallas Bowl, a North Texas player couldn’t contain his nerves for playing in such a grand occasion.

UNT RB Jeffrey Wilson scored two first half TDs for his team against Army, but that wasn’t his most notable action. He projectile vomited so hard before a play, it caused his QB to miss a snap.

QB Alec Morris clearly missed the snap and lost 13 yards on that first play when Wilson couldn’t contain himself. But later in the drive, Wilson threw a key block on the very next play that set up a 27 yard touchdown toss, which helped the Mean Green stick close with the Black Knights of Army at halftime.

Unfortunately for Wilson and North Texas, they fell 38-31 in overtime.

Obviously, Wilson is not the first football player to lose his breakfast/lunch on the field during a game. Donovan McNabb lost his lunch three times on the field in games played in Florida – against the Bucs, Jaguars, and most famously in Super Bowl XXXIX against the Patriots, though he doesn’t want anyone to say that he did. But don’t worry, no human being can hold all of that Chunky soup in their gut for too long.
