Well, this is certainly becoming an unfortunate basketball trend, with Oregon Ducks star forward Dillon Brooks the latest perpetrator.

First, just a few hours ago, Grayson Allen took another shot at an opponent. He missed, thankfully.

Then Brooks — a preseason All-American — tried the same sort of thing while the Ducks were in Pullman to take on Washington State on Saturday. Unfortunately for him, and more unfortunately for his victim Josh Hawkinson, he did not miss.

Yeah, that’s a kicking. Brooks was ejected following review, and he could face a suspension as well.

Please stop kicking people in the balls, guys.
