On Saturday night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers had their first football game since a tragic car crash claimed the lives of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Michael Sadler in July.

Before the game, the Nebraska players had an emotional scene in the locker room as they talked about playing this game against Fresno State for their fallen teammate.

On fourth down of the team’s first drive, they lined up in a punt formation, with only 10 players. They left the punter’s spot empty, and took a delay of game.

Well done with that tribute, Cornhuskers.
