North Carolina kicker Nick Weiler kicked a game-winning field goal from 54 yards to drop No. 12 Florida State in Tallahassee in stunning fashion. The kick defied all college kicker narratives we have in today’s game, so you can excuse Weiler for going a little wild with his reaction to the game-winning kick.

Weiler certainly enjoyed the moment, as he took off racing down the field while doing a chop with his right arm the entire length of the field, and even more in the end zone, as his teammates chased him down to pile on.

Florida State fans, of course, are known for doing their tomahawk chop, similar to Atlanta Braves fans. Florida State has enjoyed a respectful relationship with the Seminole tribe. One can probably argue this act was pretty ill-advised for the UNC kicker, but hey, he earned the moment.
