This shot might not be a legal basket that actually scored points, but it still might be the most impressive thing you’ll see on a college basketball court this season.

At the end of the first half between Detroit and Valparaiso, Valpo’s Micah Bradford went for the half court heave as the buzzer sounded. He juuuuuuuuust slightly overshot his target though, sending the ball flying into the shot clock above the glass. Somehow, defying the laws of physics, the ball then went straight up into the air, got the shooter’s bounce off the rim, and fell through the hoop.

It doesn’t seem possible, but watch and behold.

That shot belongs in a Larry Bird-Magic Johnson McDonald’s commercial. I’ve never seen anything like that before. You’re telling me the officials couldn’t have found some way to score those three points? C’mon man!
