The No. 14 Oklahoma State Cowboys held a pep rally on Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena before they play their homecoming football game against Baylor on Saturday.

And Mike Gundy had a (fairly weird) surprise in store for the students.

The mullet-rocking head coach told the students that he — for some reason —  challenged star quarterback Mason Rudolph to take his shirt off. If Rudolph did so, Gundy would do the same.

“I said, ‘Mason, if you’ll take your shirt off, I’ll take my shirt off.'”

Welp, that indeed happened, and the students loved it:
