The Philadelphia Eagles topped the New York Giants thanks to a game-winning field goal as time expired from a distance of 61 yards from rookie kicker Jake Elliott, who was signed by the team two weeks ago. The kick was great, and we have already seen it played out in two different languages. Now, thanks to the savvy work of the Eagles, we have the audio commentary from Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz form the moment Elliott lifted the Eagles to victory.

The Eagles had a microphone planted on Wentz for the game, and it worked out beautifully.

One the sideline, prior to the game-winning kick, Wentz was heard telling a teammate Elliott would “be a superhero if he makes it.” Wentz also said he’ll give Elliott his game check if he made the kick.

So, did Wentz pay up to that son of a gun? Inquiring minds want to know.
