When talking about one’s favorite Thanksgiving dish, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and stuffing are popular responses.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano apparently doesn’t prefer any of those side dishes. Instead, he likes…spaghetti and meatballs?

My family is Italian. I’ve been to numerous Thanksgiving dinners with both sides of my family, which are both Italian.

We’ve never had spaghetti and meatballs at Thanksgiving. Hell, we’ve never even had pasta salad at Thanksgiving.

To each their own. But if someone asks you about Thanksgiving dishes, and your response is “spaghetti and meatballs,” you deserve all of the weird looks you’ll get.

At least he didn’t say hot dogs and hamburgers.
