With just hours left until Election Day, republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had one last chance to convince the public that he had the vote of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

In a speech in New Hampshire on Monday, Trump declared that both Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had expressed support for the republican nominee. Trump even went on to read off a letter that reportedly came from Belichick. But like most things Trump says/does, there is skepticism from the public.

Here’s exactly what Belichick reportedly had to say, per Trump’s speech:

“Congratulations on a tremendous campaign. You have to help with an unbelievable slanted and negative media and have come out beautifully. You have proven to be the ultimate competitor fighter. Your leadership is amazing. I have always had tremendous respect for you for the toughness and perseverance you have displayed over the past year is remarkable. Hopefully tomorrow’s election, the results will give the opportunity to make America great again.

Best wishes for great results tomorrow,

Bill Belichick.”

I’m guessing you didn’t make it all the way through that quote without wondering whether Belichick actually wrote the letter. As we’ve seen thus far, there have been others that feel the same way.

While neither Trump nor Belichick have commented on that matter as of yet, there is one thing we can confirm: Brady hasn’t voted yet.

This is the latest instance regarding the relationship between Trump and Brady. The New England quarterback started this fiasco by putting a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker. Trump continued it by asking Brady to speak at the Republican National Convention.

And with Trump making headlines almost daily through this election cycle, Brady has been asked on numerous occasions about Trump news. It wasn’t until recently that Brady finally disclosed his relationship with the Donald.

Folks, just remember, it’s one more day. After that, Brady can go back to putting up MVP-style numbers and Belichick can go back to screwing with the other teams’ headsets.
