This is one of the more unusual things we’ve seen in any football game, whether it be college, NFL, or in this case, CFL.

Duron Carter of the Montreal Alouettes made physical contact with Ottawa Redblacks’ head coach Rick Campbell. Carter bumped into Campbell, sending him crashing to the ground.

This started a fight across the Redblacks’ sideline, which lasted a number of yards going down the field:

There will certainly be suspensions handed out across the board for this scrum. It starts with Carter, making contact with an opposing coach, but there was plenty of retaliation, and understandably so, on the Redblacks’ sideline.

Carter is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, and had been with the Indianapolis Colts prior to his stint this season with the Alouettes.
