DeMarco Murray’s mega-deal with the Eagles from last offseason didn’t turn out the way anybody had hoped or dreamed, and even though Chip Kelly was handed his pink slip, Murray still doesn’t want to stick around in Philly for much longer. The NFL’s 2014 rushing yardage leader wants to leave the Eagles after just one season.
The message teams are receiving this week: DeMarco Murray still not happy in Philly. Trading him will be difficult, but #Eagles will listen.

DeMarco Murray's affinity for DAL is evident. So is his $13M cap hit for #Eagles. Plenty to work out. Teams know his situation is unsettled

The Eagles would love to get rid of Murray, and Murray would love to head back to Dallas. But the odds of those teams trading with each other are lower than Ben Carson becoming the Republican nominee for President. But dare to dream, I guess?
Murray might not figure that prominently in the new offense for Doug Pederson, but his cap hit figures to loom large in the mind of Howie Roseman. Getting that off the books cleanly is going to be difficult, and getting Murray to be happy wearing Midnight Green also seems to be equally challenging.
The 28-year old Murray rushed for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014 with Dallas, earning him a five-year, $42 contract with the Eagles. But in 2015, his numbers fell off a cliff, as Murray totaled just 702 yards and six touchdowns in his first year with Philadelphia.
The Eagles have reaped what they sowed last offseason, and so has Murray, but who could blame him for signing that paycheck?
