Kendall Fuller was sent from the Washington Redskins to the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday night as part of the Alex Smith trade. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Field Yates were the first to report that the (very good) cornerback was in the deal.

But Fuller wasn’t buying the news. In the minutes after the Schefter and Yates tweets, Fuller said he wasn’t getting traded.

And Fuller wasn’t the only one on Twitter that didn’t buy it.

Welp, within the hour, Fuller reportedly told his teammates that he’s indeed going to the Chiefs.

Fuller returned to social media with a hilarious tweet:

Fuller said that he’s excited to be a Chief.
