Newly-signed Green Bay Packers tight end Martellus Bennett is putting his money where his mouth is.

The Packers’ online store doesn’t have Bennett’s jersey available for sale yet, but once it does, Bennett claims he’ll be donating all of his cut of the jersey sales to after school programs.

Earlier this month, Martellus’s brother Michael vowed to donate all of his endorsement money to charity this season,

I can’t image that Bennett’s jerseys will be that popular in Green Bay, especially given that the team has stars that have been with the team for years like Randall Cobb, Clay Matthews, Jordy Nelson, and Aaron Rodgers and that Bennett could be cut before next season if the Packers want to avoid giving him a bonus.

But hey, if you’re a Packers fan that needs a new jersey for the 2017 season and you’ve already got all the stars…maybe drop your $100 on a #80 Bennett jersey. Not only is a chunk of your money going to a good cause, but you’re also supporting a player that does not appreciate the NFL telling its players how to celebrate. That counts for something too, right?
