There may be no more frustrating feeling than being left stranded at the airport. But when you miss a flight and absolutely have to be somewhere, your options are few and far between. Fortunately for Green Bay Packers defensive back Davon House, there were Packers fans ready to answer the call when he missed his flight from Minneapolis to Green Bay.

Rather than load up Uber or Lyft on his phone or call for a taxi to make the trip from Minneapolis to Green Bay, House took to Twitter to see if he could find any Packers fans in the area that could help him out.

It took just a few minutes to have a pair of Packers fans come to the rescue. Brothers Chad and Mike Johnson each responded to House’s call and offered their services to get him to Green Bay.

Within hours, House was on his way to Green Bay for offseason practices at Lambeau Field with the Packer fans.

Chad was closer to the airport so he made his way to the airport to pick up House. On the way to Green Bay, they picked up Mike so the two brothers could make sure Chad stayed awake and alert in the middle of the late-night road trip to Green Bay. The brothers dropped House off at the Green Bay airport where his car was parked.

House insisted the two brothers follow him to Lambeau Field for some signed merchandise, pictures with Super Bowl trophies, and other bonuses. House also insisted the brothers take some money for gas, but the experience of giving a Packers player a ride was all they needed.

This is not the first time a Packers player has had to make alternate travel plans on the fly just to get to an offseason workout in time. A.J. Hawk had to rack up a $1,000 taxi fare in 2009 after missing a flight to Green Bay.
