Something is definitely wrong with the New York Giants.
I didn’t really need to tell you that, but ever since the notorious Miami boat trip last Monday, the Giants have been in the news for all the wrong reasons on and off the field. After losing big to the Packers 38-13 Sunday, the Giants didn’t take the loss well.
First, Odell Beckham Jr., who dropped three passes during the game, allegedly punched a hole into the locker room wall at Lambeau Field.

And then after leaving Green Bay, the Giants allegedly trashed their airplane on the way back to Newark according to the New York Post. The ensuing flight, to go from NYC to London, was delayed three hours so crews could clean up the plane.
The Post also reported that the business class cabin still smelled of alcohol, as well as “popcorn, chewing tobacco and other food crumbs” on seats.
It’s not surprising that some passengers on the London flight were not pleased that their flight was delayed.

One person apparently didn’t mind and the delay was a blessing in disguise because it took long enough for her to make the connecting flight to London.

People are usually upset regardless when they get to the airport and whenever there is any sort of delay, many passengers usually go nuts on the airline in question. It’s something we all have done on occasion. Sometimes, when it is a mechanical issue or bad weather, it’s usually out of the airline’s control. For a situation regarding a team who couldn’t handle losing, I can certainly see them being upset with the Giants.
United Airlines didn’t comment on who was on the flight from Green Bay to Newark Airport but assured that it was a “mechanical issue” and not due to any cleanup. Which isn’t shocking in that United Airlines isn’t going to blame the Giants players for the delay. They wouldn’t want to lose their business with the Giants and the NFL.
But if this is really the case, the Giants have really devolved into an immature laughing stock among the National Football League. They really need to get under control and get serious if they want to be taken seriously in the future.
