Last month, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at Cheerleader’s Gentleman’s Club, and police confirmed that an investigation was ongoing.

Here are the details of the accusation (via Philadelphia Magazine):

A 27-year-old dancer told police that she was raped inside the club, which is located on Front Street near Oregon Avenue in South Philadelphia, about 3 p.m. on Thursday.

At least two other Eagles visited Cheerleaders with Agholor, the sources said. The club is just a few minutes away from the team’s NovaCare complex, where they wrapped up their last spring practice early Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday night, Philly.Com’s Les Bowen reported that Agholor will not be charged with sexual assault:

A source close to the situation, though not involved in the investigation, said Thursday that he was told Agholor will not be charged. The source also said an announcement to that effect was near.

An NJ.com report Thursday said District Attorney Seth Williams is expected to decide on charges against Agholor on Friday – after an investigation by Philadelphia police determined no charges were warranted. A spokesman for the DA told the Daily News and Inquirer that no announcement was scheduled

ESPN reports that a source “confirmed” to them that Agholor is not expected to be charged:

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor is not expected to be charged following an investigation into a sexual assault accusation, a source confirmed to ESPN.

Agholor, 23, was a first-round pick (20th overall) by the Eagles in 2015 out of USC. He had 23 receptions for 283 yards and one touchdown in his rookie season.
