For the first time since 1994, folks in St. Louis will not spend their Sundays rooting on the Rams. One St. Louis bar has found a fun way for fans to root against the Los Angeles Rams this Fall.

That bar, Hotshots Bar & Grill, will offer the fans $1 off domestic pitchers of beer for every touchdown scored against the Rams this season. The bar chain, which has named itself the home of St. Louis sports, appears to be the perfect spot for fans looking to root against their former team.

Join us every Sunday and hate watch the Rams with us all season long. Their losses are YOUR gains as we will offer Hotshots customers $1 Off all domestic pitchers for every TD against the Rams, every week! The more they give up (which will be a lot), the more you can win while we root on literally ANYONE else. We have not forgotten what Stan and his cronies did to our city so we will have your shot to take a few jabs at them each week as well. Come root on the Rams to lose like only they can at Hotshots and get cheap beer! It’s a win-win!

Aside from slamming the Rams, the bar has also declared that each of its locations is designated for a certain team. For example, the location in Manchester, Missouri, is the place to go for St. Louis-area Packer fans.

The promotion seems like an easy way to get those still bitter over the Rams’ departure to head out to the bar on NFL Sundays. However, this could get costly for the bar. The bar does not list how much a domestic pitcher normally costs on Sundays on its website. But on Mondays, they are advertised as being $7.50, so let’s use that.

During the 2015 season, the then-St. Louis Rams gave up 20.6 points per game. If the L.A. Rams stay along that line in 2016, they will give up about $3 per pitcher. So, that would be $4.50 per pitcher. It’s a good deal for the patrons and could end up losing the bar money. What if the Rams give up eight touchdowns in a game? Do fans get beer for free?

Much like the Rams move to L.A., the move seems practical in theory. But we won’t know if it makes sense until the actual games are played.
