Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is a star, and one of the few good players on his team. On Monday night, in the team’s first game as the Los Angeles Rams since 1994, they were completely humiliated 28-0 by Blaine Gabbert and a San Francisco 49ers team that many thought may be the worst team in the NFL entering Week 1.

Naturally, Donald was frustrated, as he deserves much better than this, but he got just a tad too carried away after a play in the fourth quarter.

Donald was ejected for unsportstmanlike conduct and contact with an official. The main things we saw on video involved Donald grabbing 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton by the neck and ripping his helmet off. After being ejected, Donald then flipped out and slammed his helmet to the ground.

That capped off an embarrassing evening for the Rams, but Donald is certainly the least of this team’s problems. We wish HBO would bring back one more Hard Knocks episode to see the behind-the-scenes action of this mess.
