A not-so-anonymous lawsuit has been filed in California over a sex tape. Thanks to TMZ, we know exactly which celebrity is involved.

That would be Denver Broncos defensive standout Von Miller. A woman is claiming that she recorded a sex tape with the Super Bowl 50 MVP and will release it unless the former Texas A&M Aggie pays the woman $2.5 million.

Here is what the good folks at TMZ had to report on the issue.

In the docs, Miller says he met a woman named Elizabeth Ruiz during a trip to Mexico in June 2016 — and the two had sex while they were alone indoors.

Miller says the woman recorded the sex on her cell phone — but he insisted at all times she keep it private. He claims he reached out to her after the trip and asked her to destroy the recording to which she replied, “Gotcha.”

Though Miller isn’t directly named in the lawsuit, there is plenty of evidence to connect Miller to this event. Andrew F. Kim, the general counsel on this case, works with the agency that represents Miller.

The judge has already put in a temporary restraining order between the woman and Miller. However this case turns out, this should be a learning opportunity for the Denver defensive star. He has to be more mindful of his actions going forward.
