David Johnson must have eaten his Wheaties on Sunday.

The Cardinals running back and emerging star pulled off an incredible move during Arizona’s blowout loss to the Carolina Panthers. On a slant pass from quarterback Carson Palmer, Johnson caught the pass, paused, then hurdled over cornerback Robert McClain. Johnson wasn’t done there, deking three-time pro bowl linebacker Luke Kuechly and pushing back multiple defenders before finally getting pulled down.

Most hurdles take place as the ballcarrier is sprinting forward with a tackler going low. Johnson is just basically standing upright when he leaps over McClain. That’s incredible.

The rest of the game didn’t go so well, as the Cardinals didn’t put up much of a fight against the Panthers, falling 30-20. Johnson led Arizona with 84 receiving yards and added another 24 on the ground on 10 carries.

But, still: standing hurdle!
