The first Sunday of the NFL season brought us incredible plays on both defense and offense. However, the first Sunday night of the season might’ve given us two of the best plays.

Down 20-14 to the New England Patriots in the fourth quarter, two Arizona Cardinals players born in 1991 and 1983 respectively made incredible plays to put Arizona ahead.

Lets start off with the 24-year-old running back David Johnson.

Johnson’s run was for 45 yards and gave the Cardinals great field position. A couple plays later, 33-year-old ageless wonder — although one that does plan to retire after this season — Larry Fitzgerald tied it up with an insane grab.

So there you have it. On one drive, Johnson and Fitzgerald made two of the best plays of the NFL season thus far. Too bad they won’t give millions of people fantasy points for style.
