Well, the final minute of the Panthers-Saints first half on Thursday night was bonkers.

For the second straight week, it appeared the Saints had allowed a field goal return touchdown, as the Panthers blocked an attempt from New Orleans kicker Wil Lutz, and Carolina superstar linebacker Luke Kuechly ran it all the way back:

However, the touchdown was wiped out thanks to a block in the back — that didn’t really alter the play at all — from Carolina’s James Bradberry:

Still, the Panthers got great field position out of it (the Saints’ 40-yard line), and didn’t take long trying to get that touchdown back.

On the very first play, Cam Newton launched a bomb that wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. incredibly caught in the back of the end zone. The play was ruled incomplete, and you would fully expect for that to be the case when you see it live. This is just an absurd play that shouldn’t be possible:
