A pick-six is just a backbreaking play if you’re a fan of the team throwing it. It’s a massive turn of events. It’s viscerally jolting, too; one second the ball is traveling downfield in the direction you want it to go, the next it’s in the hands of a defender hurtling the other way.

But Minnesota’s Xavier Rhodes took it to another level today against the Cardinals:

The 100-yard pick-six! That is truly debilitating, as it essentially amounts to a twelve-point swing on one play.
