Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin scored the 600th goal of his remarkable career during the team’s game against the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night.
Ovechkin becomes the 20th player in NHL history to reach the milestone, and did so in 990 games. He’s just the fourth player to score 600 goals in under 1,000 games, joining a very special list of players:
Players to score 600 goals in fewer than 1,000 games.
1. Wayne Gretzky (718 games)
2. Mario Lemieux (719)
3. Brett Hull (900)
4. Alex Ovechkin (990)That’s it.

This Caps fan and David Puddy wannabe congratulated Ovechkin on the accomplishment. This guy looks like a human cherry-dipped Dairy Queen cone.
