Beau Bennett’s time with the St. Louis Blues got off to a rather interesting start. After signing a one-year, $650,000 contract with the Blues this summer, Bennett joined his first training camp with his new team this past week.

Following one of his team’s first training camp sessions, Bennett left and found a note on his rental car. Well, maybe we should say he found a note on his rental minivan.

Bennett, who was born in California but played last season in New Jersey and the one before that in Pittsburgh, admitted that maybe he shouldn’t have rented a Chrysler Pacifica minivan during camp. It’s easy to assume that a fan placed this loving note on Bennett’s vehicle, but we wouldn’t be surprised to learn it was one of his new teammates giving him a bit of trouble as one of the new guys in the organization.

Speaking of teammates, one of Bennett’s former teammates in New Jersey responded with an extremely important question we were all wondering about.

The van has a five-star rating in safety according to a quick Google search, but Bennett didn’t seem too pleased with the question.

Maybe Bennett needs to go back and reevaluate the life decisions which brought him to this point. Or, maybe he can offer to give all of his teammates a lift to training camp.
