Edmonton Oilers forward Matt Hendricks had a moment on Thursday night against the Dallas Stars that will make any man cringe.

In the second period, Stars defenseman Alex Goligoski crushed a slap shot, and as the Oilers’ color commentator put it, Hendricks got hit “where you never want to get hit”:

OUCH.

Thankfully for Hendricks, he wore a cup, and tweeted out a picture of its damage after the game:
