Montreal Canadiens forward Andrew Shaw and Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug got into a fight just 58 seconds into their game on Sunday evening at TD Garden.

And while hockey fights are always interesting, that’s not the story here. The story is actually referee Wes McCauley announcing the penalty, and putting a hilarious emphasis on the word “fighting”.

This is fantastic:

“Five minutes each for FIGHTING!”

You may remember McCauley from another awesome call last year during a playoff game between the Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks: “WE GOT A GOAL!”

Referees/umpires can seem so robotic at times, and it’s awesome to see some fun emotion like McCauley has displayed over the years.
