Usain Bolt is the fastest man in the world. James Corden is a late-night television host. When the two faced off in the parking lot of the CBS studios, along with the entire staff and crew from The Late Late Show with James Corden, the results were about what you might expect. Oh, and Owen Wilson showed up to compete in the race as well, because why not?
Before the video evidence of the race aired on CBS last night, Corden shared a spoiler on Twitter. Feel free to submit your jokes about delayed Olympic event coverage if you desire.
I just destroyed @usainbolt in a 100 meter sprint. He didn't stand a chance. See tonight @latelateshow CBS 12.30

Of course, the actual video footage of the race told a much different story. Bolt was not running at a world-record pace. He didn’t have to against this field of competition, but that didn’t take away from Bolt doing what he does best. The man is an entertainer at heart.
Maybe next time, James. And Owen.
This is not the first time Bolt has been challenged by a Hollywood celebrity. Bolt shared a story about receiving a challenge from Mickey Rourke at three in the morning one time. Bolt will be happy to take on all challengers it seems. Who will be next?
