Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul hosted a Reddit AMA on Thursday to promote his new film Triple 9. While answering fan questions ranging from everything about his favorite author to his thoughts on his Triple 9 co-star and Walking Dead fan-fav Norman Reedus, Paul dropped a pretty big hint to a possible appearance on the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul.

When asked if he was open to making an appearance on the Bob Odenkirk-led show, Paul said that not only was he open to appearing but “maybe I already shot it,” and that “it might be airing this season.”

That’s pretty big news to just casually drop in an AMA. While Paul doesn’t officially confirm he’s making a cameo, he basically says he’s appearing in the show this season, which is great news for Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fans.

So far Better Call Saul has worked great as its own property, despite some being initial hesitant, but what’s really fun is all the Breaking Bad teases and characters which have been name-dropped or appeared so far in totally different situations than on Breaking Bad. It’s cool enough we get the chance to see Saul (Odenkirk) and Mike’s (Jonathan Banks) backstory on the show, but to get a cameo from Aaron Paul returning as Jesse pre-meeting Walter White is going to be great. If it’s true…

Yeah bitch!
