Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky, a film about brothers who plan to commit a heist during a NASCAR race, just added another star, as Adam Driver will be joining the project, according to Deadline.

The 32-year-old actor played Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, where he should be set up nicely to reappear in other future Star Wars films.

Along with Driver, Seth MacFarlane is reportedly in talks to join as well, according to Deadline. Early yesterday morning, The Hollywood Reporter said that Riley Keough, who worked with Soderbergh in The Girlfriend Experience, would be joining the cast as well, making it a pretty good 24 hours for building up the cast.

Logan Lucky will be Soderbergh’s first film since 2013. Along with the aforementioned actors, Soderbergh will have Channing Tatum and Michael Shannon in the film, who are expected to play the brothers who plan the crime at a NASCAR race. If that doesn’t sound like a good time, I don’t know what does.

Now, adding Steven Soderbergh, Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane and Channing Tatum with a NASCAR heist leads to many questions. Given Soderbergh’s history with heist movies, is this going to be a NASCAR version of Ocean’s Eleven? Will these characters be drivers, fans, crew members or a mix? What exactly are they going to be stealing? Either way, it looks like it’s shaping up to be a great film.

The film is being sold at Cannes.
