During Wednesday’s edition of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek was talking with contestant Susan Cole about her hobbies, as he frequently does with contestants during the show to remind the audience that the contestants are actual people and not just trivia robots.

Well, Trebek brought up Cole’s interest in nerdcore hip hop, saying it’s “something he’s never heard of” and “doesn’t sound like fun”. So Cole then explained what nerdcore is, and why she enjoys it. And my goodness… Trebek OWNED her:

Cole: “I think it’s very fun. It’s called nerdcore hip hop. People identifying as nerdy, rapping about the things they love- video games, science fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners. It’s really catchy and fun.”

Trebek: “Losers, in other words.”

That’s so cold, and incredible. However, that figures to anger a significant part of Jeopardy‘s demographic. Still worth it.
