It’s been 13 years since we saw Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn face each other in the movie Dodgeball. We were teased about a potential sequel but that seems to not be happening. Though maybe we’re getting the next best thing.

Over the past couple days, Stiller has been challenging athletes on Twitter to a game of dodgeball for charity. Stiller called out each person one at a time to see if they would join him and his team for the match.

Stiller, well his Dodgeball character White Goodman, first talked to Justin Bieber and warned him about getting “his balls in [Bieber’s] face.”

Then targeted LeBron James and Tony Hawk and talked about how LeBron could finally win a dodgeball championship and calling Hawk a “grown up man-child” which is a bit of an oxymoron.

Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton was next on Goodman’s list where he let the Mercedes driver know how much he loved his musical.

Aaron Rodgers and Rafael Nadal were next up where Goodman pointed out how Rodgers was copying his mustache and challenged Rafa to try a sport with “more balls.”

Last, but not least, Goodman challenged Katy Perry, promising fireworks if she “puts her hands on his dodgeballs.”

In all seriousness, the charity dodgeball match is meant to raise money for the Stiller Foundation, which builds schools in developing countries for children, primarily in Haiti since their devastating earthquake in 2010.

There is a spot that’s open on Goodman’s team and for a random fan. A raffle is set up to raise money and the more you donate, the more chances you have of winning. Prizes include sweatbands and T-shirts to signed scripts and dodgeballs to donating $20,000 and skipping the raffle altogether to automatically join the team in New York City.

All in all, this seems like a pretty cool experience just to watch, much less participate. But if I was participating, I gotta choose Average Joe’s. I mean, come on, they’re the underdogs.
