Breaking Bad is one of the most binge watched shows out there. Part of the reason why it became a massive success is because people caught it on Netflix and were immediately hooked. But we all lead busy lives and some people have still put off watching one of the best TV shows ever because they cannot devote the amount of time needed to watch the 62 episode series.

I have no clue how this person could have been able to cut down all that and turn it into a coherent and compelling story that keeps all the main plot points but it’s all there. The story of Walter White, going from being a high school chemistry teacher to making and distributing meth as a way to financially secure his family before he dies of cancer to being a drug kingpin, is included in this movie.

Admittedly, I haven’t seen this entire movie and I’m sure Vince Gilligan doesn’t appreciate six years worth of episodes whittled down to a couple hours but this seems like a pretty good refresher if anything. I recommend watching the episodes first and then check back with the movie in order to remember what happened in the series.
