The Christmas Story leg lamp is one of the most iconic props in a Christmas movie. It’s so ingrained in our minds that every time we see one, we not only know the reference, we know the lines from that scene.
Captain Morgan is putting their spin on the leg lamp with their similarly iconic pose, the captain with their leg up. So Captain Morgan is selling a lamp that consists of the captain putting their leg up on a table.
This four-and-a-half foot tall, 40 pound floor lamp is way bigger than the table lamp from the movie. This lamp is also a limited release, and I mean very limited. They are set to only sell five lamps and if you want one of these $499 lamps, they go on sale at midnight tonight.
Sure, this looks nice and would treat that Captain Morgan and Christmas Story fan, but the magic is a bit lost if you had to pay for this leg lamp. There’s nothing like winning a major award and that’s what makes the Christmas Story leg lamp more special.
