During a recent Facebook Live chat, actor Vin Diesel spilled the beans and said that the Guardians of the Galaxy are going to be present in the third Avengers film, Infinity War.
Diesel provided the voice of Groot in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which was one of the most well-received and beloved of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. Now Groot, along with Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora and Drax, will join nearly every MCU character in the next Avengers film.
If you’d prefer to see Guardians of the Galaxy in their own story, their next film is coming out May 5, 2017, while Infinity War will be released at the same time in 2018.
