Better Call Saul

Gus Fring appears to be returning in Better Call Saul Season 3

The third season of Better Call Saul will be airing in the spring, and there isn’t a whole lot known about what direction the Breaking Bad spinoff will go this year.

On Wednesday, Giancarlo Esposito, who played Gus Fring on Breaking Bad, tweeted out a video that seems to imply that Fring will show up this season and likely will interact with Saul Goodman’s previous identity, Jimmy McGill.

I could get behind a season where Fring, looking to expand and protect his criminal empire, gets involved with McGill. I can’t remember Saul and Fring actually interacting in the Breaking Bad universe, and it would be interesting to see that lack of interaction explained by the prequel. Maybe a business deal went awry?

Many were a bit disappointed by the way the second season of Better Call Saul ended. But if Gus Fring is back in the fold, season three should be much more satisfying for all viewers.
