The CW’s silliest superhero team-up show isn’t backing down on its inherent wackiness, as an upcoming episode of Legends of Tomorrow will center around a young George Lucas.

Legends executive producer Marc Guggenheim spoke with Entertainment Weekly, revealing that a fictional version of the Star Wars creator will appear in the show’s winter premiere on Jan. 24, where a time aberration will change the course of the iconic filmmaker’s career.

“Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells EW. “As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn’t exist.”

If the plot sounds ridiculous, that’s because it totally is. But acknowledging inherent absurdity has helped Legends find its footing in season two. The show has fully embraced its campy premise and revamped ensemble, leading to a completely new life for the show. So far, the super-team has already fought Nazis, Al Capone and aliens this season, so George Lucas is the next logical step, right?

The episode, aptly titled “Raiders of the Lost Art,” sounds like a lot of fun. The interplay between Ray Palmer/Atom (Brandon Routh) and Nate Heywood/Steel (Nick Zano), tussling for the role of  the alpha goofster on the Waverider has brought some needed bromance to the show. With the duo losing the inspiration (George Lucas) that helped them become top scientists and historians, the episode will surelyexplore their place on the team without their most valuable skills.

What most excites me is the potential amount of jokes at the expense of Lucas and the Star Wars prequels. Because if Lucas never wrote Star Wars, the prequels never existed. That’s a win, right?
