Marilyn Manson was rushed to a local New York hospital on Saturday night after a massive stage prop collapsed on the singer during a show at Hammerstein Ballroom.

Manson, 48, was singing his band’s popular cover of Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” when a prop shaped like two giant pistols fell on him. It appears that Manson was trying to climb the prop and it collapsed.

A rep for Manson told Rolling Stone that he suffered an injury and is being treated at a local hospital.

“Manson suffered an injury towards the end of his incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital,” a rep for the singer told Rolling Stone.

Variety adds that they were told Manson “should be fine.”

 A source close to the situation told Variety shortly after the incident that Manson “should be fine,” but that was not an official comment.
